Going to put an anti wet sumping ball valve on my commando
Can you tell me the inside diameter of the feed pipe then I know which size spigot to get
on the ball valve. Would assume its 10mm

I fitted a non return valv…
I fitted a non return valve from BriTie motorcycles and an oil light warning device. RGM sell them that fix in place of the rocker spindle plate. I moved the Hi beam warning light and used that for the oil light. Not had a problem in twenty odd years with it.

Original feed pipe ID is 3/8" which converts to 9.525mm.
I have a ball valve fitted on my bike. I also have an oil pressure warning switch/light and an oil pressure gauge just in case I forget to turn the supply on. I turn the supply on a few hours before starting up after a gap in use. This is to help ensure that oil is available at the pump, and some in the sump, at start-up.
