I don't understand why it was locked. It may have gone off topic, or maybe 'the original question has been answered adequately', but if people want to ramble on ad infinitum then where is the harm in that?

Dear webmaster, I would understand if you wish to move this message to what you consider to be a more appropriate section, but I would genuinely be interested in your answer to the above.
