Hi all . Just been dismantling the clutch on my jubilee restoration and found that there was no 3/8 inch ball bearing in the actuator mechanism and the push rod was slightly bent ( parts ordered ) . What effect would this have on the clutch ? . I've taken the friction plates out and they are all good and have been cleaned. Is there any specific settings for the 3 clutch adjuster nuts and the main adjuster with the locking nut , ie turns in or out ? Thanks Graham .
The manual says...

... that the 3 clutch adjuster nuts should be flush with the spring cups (although obviously tweaked to get a straight lift). The main adjuster is usually backed off half a turn from touching when the cable adjusters are slackened right off.
