Was the Big4 anytime delivered from the factory with swinging fork frame? I have seen couple photo`s of sidevalve bikes with this frame.

Given the wide interchangeability of Norton components, I imagine it would not be too difficult to build a side-valve engine into a swinging-arm frame -- even a Featherbed-framed Big 4 might be possible, if anyone felt the need to concoct such a thing.
Not as far as I know. Production ended in 1954. However some were fitted into the frame that had "PLUNGER" rear suspension
The Ariel VB 600cc side valve had a swinging arm frame from 1955.
