1929 M19 Piston

Forums

I have a friend with a 1929 M19 (lucky chap) who is rebuilding it but the piston fitted is very worn and I believe is the wrong one. Does anybody know if anybody stocks such a thing. The original bore and stroke is 79x120.

Hi Tony,

I not sure if this will be suitable as it is for a Model 18 so the compression might be a bit high, but worth a look. No idea how expensive it will be though.

Interest that the piston has 78.9 written on the top yet that dimension does not appear anywhere on the drawing? George

Hi George,

They may not have quoted a precise measurement for the bore as I believe they will make over-sizes to suit your cylinder. It would be good if anyone who has had dealings with this companyand can give their views on them.

Regards, Richard.
