I bought one. The Ali Express part has been in use for a year. It works without any problems. I removed the kicker.

Hi yes I got two of them from there, and one has now been in my MK3 for the last 3 years and works a treat, I did have two which I fitted from over here and they both failed within a matter of months, and yes that was with a new engine sprocket and a New starter gear, so go with the Alli ones don`t think you will go far wrong. I just keep the other one for a spear.

Oh..... and at the price you can get two for less that the price of one here.

I also have been using one for about a year with no problems and yes I brought a second as a spare.

I am using one, 3 years now, I learn that they all break, so i do the first start by using the Kick start lever and only use the magic button when it is not easy to do it by foot or foot and electrical simultaneusly.

I finally lost the panic I had to start the bike, i had broken the electric start system 4 times, replacing every thing AN recommends, so no more rebuilds, too expensive. 

It works for me.
