Hi - yes I'm also interested in your findings - I'm retiring at Christmas and I'm going to treat myself to one of these as a retirement present to myself to fit to my 920. I'm awaiting the belt drive version which is supposed to be 'imminent'.

THE ELECTRIC START IS NOW WORKING FINE A FEW TEETHING PROBLEMS WITH THE STATOR TO ROTOR GAP WHICH HAS NOW BEEN SORTED. HOPING TO DO A WRITE UP IN ROADHOLDER SOON.

I don't know of anyone making an electric start for the earlier Nortons.
