I was needing to get four parts re-chromed as per my photo, and was stuck get reasonable quotes. My nearest plater was seventy miles away in Glasgow. They gave me a "cash price, no VAT" of £110 per part! They also cost me two waisted round trips!
long story short, I got the parts beautifully plated by Alpha Electroplaters Ltd in Sheffield for just £210 including postage. Having obtained a number of quotes, their's was the best by far. Their turnaround time was less than a week and the communication with the owner, John, was perfect. Being the lowest priced quote I got, I was slightly worried that this would be reflected in the quality, but definitely not the case.
so if you are looking for electroplaters, I can thoroughly recommend Alpha.

Looks like you got a great job done by Alpha.
Would you consider adding them to the Services section, see header of NOC homepage?
Probably a section not used much, or perhaps trusted, by members. It would be a good promotion for Alpha. Not currently listed as platers in Yorkshire and Humberside.
