Hi All,
I'm looking for replacement rubber hose where oil pipe fits to the oil tank. I'm not sure if the pipe would come with the brass nut on it? Does anyone know where i can get one? If not, can i simply buy a piece of rubber hose to replace my bulging rubber pipe which looks like it is about burst! Please take a look at the image below.
Many thanks for any help i can get!

Oil Pipe Variations
It looks as if Brian's bike might have one of the WD model oil line variations. Pre-war bikes used copper all the way through, but these were found to fracture in service use so they went over to full-length rubber pipes.
Wartime rubber shortages meant that there was a return to copper but with a short length of rubber pipe to minimise vibration and potential fractures.
Automotive pipe specialists should be able to crimp ferrules onto a new hose, allowing you to retain your existing spigots and threaded connections.

Hello Brian,
Your 16h is pre-1948, when the oil pipe connectors were copper tubing. The arrangement in your photo is a bit of a bodge, a couple of photos below showing what it should look like.
There is a pair of copper feed and return pipes currently listed in the NOC Spares.
Hope this helps.
