Hi Guys,
I have a puzzle I can't figure out!
I am looking to put the engine and gearbox back into the frame.
I currently have the gearbox, swinging arm and main stand all bolted together.
What's the easiest order of reconstruction, and should I take the gearbox out until the cradle/swinging arm/stand is in the frame, then put the engine in, then the front Isolastic? I have the head off at the moment to keep the weight down and give a bit more clearance.
I can suspend the frame in my garage or mount it on a lift, I will also have an extra set of hands to help me.
I just can't figure out the best way to do this!
possibly, I should have paid more attention to how I took it all apart!

It's covered in the workshop manual but, in summary:
- strap the frame down by the lower tubes to a solid knee/waist high bench with access from both sides
- pad the frame tubes and tie hanging cables out of the way
- if fitted, remove the exhausts, front isolastic, top engine mount, carburettor tops and centre stand
- insert the engine, gearbox, primary transmission assembly from the right side, back end first, tilting as required
- insert a loose fitting steel bar thru the frame and rear isolastic mount
- fit front isolastic to engine, insert rear isolastic stud, front isolastic bolt and top mount
Realistically a two person job; a third pair of hands and eyes is useful for the rear isolastic.

I put the engine in first with the front Isolastic mounting fitted, then the rear carriage with the swinging arm attached then rotated the gearbox through the offside of the carriage assembly.
The head was put on last.
