You may get what you want from the regular & mail order suppliers already mentioned.
There is another option, that would give a quality set, which will fit.
I went to view a '62 650SS around 8 years ago. The owner had taken it along to Norman White near Andover, who made a set of stainless downpipes for it. While they were the smaller diameter type, which are correct for the 650SS and enhance performance, Mr White made them so the silencers would be upswept like the later Commandos. He also extended the enlarged section at the end of each pipe, so the brackets would line up nicely.
I like the original (horizontal silencer) style, but thought the rakish effect of the upswepts was pretty cool.
The only disadvantage is that you'd need to fit the silencers with a wipe of Copaslip, because one or both would need to come off to remove the wheel.
The owner then fitted a pair of the nasty, noisy repro' silencers (see my attached photo), which spoiled it a bit.
There is an email address at the bottom of Norman White's website page:
http://www.normanwhite.co.uk/products.htm
If you could get your bike down there, that would guarantee the system would fit nicely.
Spoilt for choice now, eh?
Paul

Hi David - Keihan in Redditch list stainless Norton Silencers (they don't list pipes though) but it may be worth giving them a call as they may have some ideas etc.
