De-Luxe Dommy under the skirt

Forums

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, that may be so, but does any have a good picture of a De-Luxe Dommy with the rear enclosures and seat off?
Failing that, does somebody with a few words to spare, it doesn't have to be a thousand, know what the difference is between the upper frame cross member on the D-Ls and the standard one, and exactly how is the lifting handle fitted?
Thanks.

Hi Robert, I'm  in Leyland, Lancashire, and have no plans to be anywhere in the South-East in the foreseeable future, thanks for the offer, though.
My own 99D-L is a log-term project I have had for many years. Some time between when it was last on the road and my acquiring it in the mid 1980s somebody dismantled it, rather brutally removed most of the enclosure brackets with an acetylene torch, (although it still has the pump brackets!), and got rid of a lot if the tin ware, then must have lost interest because everything that is left is very, very original, so much so that it would be a shame to just make it into a standard Dommy, but re-instating the panels isn't  feasible either, so my intention is to have it as a de-frocked De-Luxe. I don't  think the engine has ever been apart, bar for having the head off to get it out, or done many miles either, the speedo says 9k.
I wondered if the  lifting handle goes on the tool tray brackets, but even with the tray in place they look much too flimsy.
The upper cross member tube is in place, matches the frame paint exactly and is just the same as a standard dommy one, but the spare parts book says the DLs had a different one, hence my curiousity.

After i tried to ride a  DL through a Minvan (without opening the doors) , . I converted it to an 88 SS in red and Dove, Dont remember any issues at all  apart from the plaster casts getting in the way.  Saw the bike many years on selling as an 88SS but now in black and chrome ! Where are you VAP807 now?.   Just checked , V5 2016 and on SORN . its still around !!
