Well, In my excitement to buy the Commando I failed to notice that it didn't have a side stand! On closer inspection I found a short tube welded to the frame. Hope fully I've managed to attach a picture. Spoke with Andover Norton who couldn't be more helpful. Top service. Apparently a non standard modification. Has anyone seen this before? Been advised to purchase a weld on bracket (06.3049) to allow a later stand to be fitted. Will do this when I get round to the full restoration.

Up close looks like a wrinkle in the powdercoat. At some stage it will get blasted back to bare to weld the new kick stand bracket and repaint so will look closer then. Thank you.
