i have had a pillion seat on order for three months,not heard a thing..emailed norton they just asked where id ordered it from..am i missing something or has anyone else had trouble getting one... how can it be so difficult to get a seat;;;

961 commando pillion seat
I have just bought a 961 commando and ordered the Pillion seat when i paid the deposit ,the bike is ready for collection, as i paid the balance two days later it just needs the seat to arrive. It has only been two weeks so far . Cost of the seat is £249.00. Judd racing currently have five seats on order. I have been riding Moto Guzzi's for the last 25 years and they can take 3 months to deliver spares. I hope Norton give better customer service. I also have a Suzuki and the longest i have had to wait for a spare to come from japan if its not in stock in the European warehouse has been just over a week.Lets see how quick Norton can deliver from Solihull to Judd racing in Nottingham

just picked up my new commando 961 SP, pillion seat took exactly 3 weeks to arrive from placing the order for the bike.So very happy with the service from Norton and Judd racing Nottinham.First proper ride cold,but bike exceeded expectations ,This one's a keeper

There's a lot you are not telling us here ?
To begin with, had you formally ordered your rear seat ?did you have a copy of that order ? is it a case that your order has been mislaid ? Did Norton offer to take a fresh order?
