Me again!! Does anyone have a set of engine plates for a 1938 Model 50? I'm really desperate for these as I can't seem to source any. If no one can help with having a spare set could there be a set I can borrow as templates? Obviously I would being willing to leave a deposit as goodwill.

The WD plates are recognis…
The WD plates are recognisable by the separate footrest tubes but they are interchangeable with the other open-frame heavyweights. Unfortunately, the 350s have different crankcases and frame.
I suspect that a template made from a 16H plate would not be a bad starting point in making a pair for the 350.
In the spare parts list, the Model 50 are the lower set

David, they may not be a mile off from WD 16H plates. Richard P will know better. 16H parts availability is not too bad thanks to 100,000 units made for the war department. Good luck.
