The Filter box is made by Norville , a bit pricey  ,you also need a  carb ring and rubber connector ,or better make up the connection yourself.  Very fiddly to fit ,I had to do some filing of holes to line up with the tank mounts. The filter is a mini item . The box came unpainted , so will go rusty. Battery box and electrics will have to be moved to gain access.  Something simpler may be a better bet?. I don't know if  the big box filter will fit in the wideline  arangement ,I have only seen it on a slimline.

My 1959 99 has the studs on the inside of the oil tank for a filter, but you have to take off the battery box when you need to change it - not very convenient!

I'm thinking of just using a mesh "fly-catcher" on a bellmouth - or maybe using something finer and up the main jet one size.

With normal classic use the filter element will last for years . Happily with a DL I only have to remove the battery ,and that has to come out  once a year to top up the acid anyway.A good mudguard is essential to protect the filter box from spray, or a baffle from guard thro the swinging arm which also keeps spray away from the chain.and box sprocket.
