I have just taken delivery of a new 961 sport to compliment my old 850 Mk3, and I was wondering if anyone could recommend something to remove those annoying stickers that are on the fuel tank? You know the ones that give the running in limitations, and about wearing a helmet etc.?I thought about white spirit, but I am very conscious that the tank is plastic, and I don't want to use anything that will affect the paintwork. Has anybody removed them, if so, what did you use?

You could try Label remove…
You could try Label remover liquid. Its based on Citric Acid. You just have to be patient while it dissolves the glue and avoid the temptation to use a scraper.

Many thanks, used the hair…
Many thanks, used the hairdryer to get the stickers off and a quick wipe with white spirits got the remaining glue off, followed by a polish, now looks great!
