With the tanks removed the difference will be obvious:
With the Wideline the top frame rails come straight back and parallel
The Slimline frames have the top frame tubed nipped in at the rearwhere they turn down.
Originally there was no "Wideline" frame. When the "Slimline" units were produced and called such, the older units were, by default, nick-named the Wideline type.

all the technical advice so far..Russ all you is a tape to measure at the back of the tank wide-line are 10inch slim-line 8 inch that from tube to tube at the top at the back of your tank the very early feather-bed frame's had a blot on rear sub-frame Hope you have Fun Yours Anna J
