Swopped to rear sets for ergonomic reasons to ease the pain of interstate footpeg/tank position with the Z plates Does the cable still have to exit under the rear silencer rubber bobbin now there ,s no rear footrest Straighter run over the top of the plate still a no/no ?

Route the cable wherever you get the straightest run and no snagging of the cable as the suspension moves up and down. I've never had a problem routing over the top of Z-plate.
