Rev Counter and electronic ignition

Forums

Dear all,

I'm currently fitting a PAZON Sure Fire PAMT 1 electronic ignition system (the one replacing a K2F magneto) on my 1960 Dommie and would like to install a rev counter too.

Do you know how to do it (I guess it shouldn't be a problem to capture the rpm info from the ignition module and to replicate it on a counter) and where to get that sort of counter ?

Many thanks & safe riding

Hello Laurent Why did your Norton have a K2f on it in the first place? These machines were fitted with coil ignition and a PRS8 switch on the headlamp. As for an electronic rev-counter, call Mick Hemmings' (01604 631838). Pazon Surefire are one of the best Electronic Ignition systems on the market.
