How difficult is replacing the neutral switch mounted in the gearbox? It looks difficult to access, I have checked my wiring and all seems good but the light only comes on when it feels like it, so I feel the switch is faulty.

The neutral light switch was OK after all , the problem turned out to be bad connection in the connector between the main loom and the console loom.

Hi Nigel,
The switch might just need adjusting, maybe half a turn or so in as the rivet on the cam plate does wear. It is fiddly though.
