Dominator 88 rear hub

Forums

Hi I am completely new to the world of Norton restoration ,and having purchased a box of bits I am having trouble from the word go.I am currently rebuilding the rear wheel and hub.My box of bits came with a rebuilt wheel to carry a half width drum and sprocket,I purchased a new drum/sprocket but it will not go through the hub enough to fit the sleeve nuts ,also I have no idea what sequence the spacers fit or indeed if they are all there. The literature i have does not provide enough information to help me .Any help would be much appreciated,I am based in Aylesbury Bucks and if it was possible eyes on expertise would be much appreciated.Mick

Hi Mick, I'm in Gt. Missenden. I have a Model 7 Maintenance Manual which gives a good picture. Neil (neil@thepeytons.plus.com)

Hi Neil would it be possible to pop over and have a look and maybe copy the the info ,it will also be nice to meet somebody local as I think I am going to need some serious help with this project. Would it be possible to bring my bits (not all of them ha ha ) for you to have a look at and advise.

Thanks for the reply Mick
