The above is from the Denso website http://www.densoiridium.com/find_part.php It even lists the spark plug for a Manxman! They must be really famous. No mention in the literature that it is a resistor plug, but what would I know? Gordon.

P.S. The first colum shows the standard Denso plug, the second the Iridium one. Monster plug gaps though...

I have just fitted NKG BPR6IEX iridium plugs in my '61 99. I wanted to put in Denso IW22 plugs or NKG 7's but could not find any in Perth, Western Australia. The compression ratio in my bike is 8.5:1 and I run RITA electronic ignition. So far I have not noticed a great deal of difference, I think the bike starts more easily, it always has been good though and may be slightly smoother.

Best wishes,

Don

Hi, I have bought a set-£38.00!!- and done about 40 miles and have to admit they have made a real difference. Pick - up is much quicker and cleaner from all throttle positions and the tickover is very impressive - it wouldn't tick over at all before. The bike now requires onlya tiny amount of choke first thing in the morning.I woulddo an internet search first before buying them from RGM however,as the price is too steep.
