On the application form it asks for Month and Year for Commandos only. Mine has lost its VIN plate but the number is stamped (albeit in reverse) where the VIN plate was. I know the year as the bike was originally registered in the UK to Lancashire police. Will the lack of a VIN plate be an issue? What do I put on the form? The bike was originally a 1972 Interpol.
