Hello, does anyone know if Commando 750 concentric carburettors can be swapped from left to right and vice versa. I'm trying a process of elimination to cure a low rpm misfire.
No, 'cos the bits that stick…

Low RPM Misfire
I had one which was cured by addressing an air leak on the exhaust system. Can't explain how that works but once sealed it went away.

Yes you can swap them…
Yes you can swap them temporarily, as a test.
As said, not very accessible for adjustments.

For anyone in need of doing…
For anyone in need of doing this, it can be done. I had to twist the carbs in what little movement they have in the manifold mounting holes / bolts / studs for the tick over screw castings to clear each other. Tighten a bit at a time while checking the manifold flange faces seat together.

I think I filed a little bit off a sticking-out bit, but it was so long ago that I'm not sure.

No, 'cos the bits that stick out of the body for the tickler etc. will interfere with each other. And you won't be able to get at the adjuster screws either.
You can swap float bowls, slides, needles, top caps, jets, air & idle screws - i.e. everything but the body castings.
