Bolt-up Featherbed Battery Platform

Forums

Would anyone have an image of the early featherbed oil tank/battery platform and maybe the battery retaining parts - I do have the later platform but the jumble season is opening and I want to look for the right parts.

Thanks

Hello all, I am searching for a bit of information re the dynamo bits in the timing case of a 1956 Dominator which I am rebuilding. All is going well, but the dynamo clutch parts are a little difficult to find any information about. I do have some of the parts,eg.a steel driving gear and cam sprocket with a large flat steel washer held captive by a steel rivet, and also a steel starfish spring steel washer. I believe there are a couple of distance piece washers of different thicknesses which I do not have, nor know the names of. I have checked a number of areas for info. including this forum, but not much luck re identification. So,is there anyone out there who has the names of these parts,or maybe an exploded drawing they could let me have a copy of to help me along. Thanks, Mel.

What's that got to do with my battery platform?

Hello Martin, sorry about that,it wasn't intended, I don't know what happened,it suddenly took flight and vanished. at least I know where it landed, but, what I don't know is how to move it.My missus said to me" Tha muster pressed summat."

cheers, Mel.

I think this is what you are looking for. Web site won't allow me to post two photos on same response and now has deleted my initial response!! If you need any measurements please let me know. Now file is too large at 1091 kB. Will try again.
