went to remove rear wheel sprocket on my Atlas, thought it would be a breeze as it had new alloy rim, and had been powder coated. Looks like last owner had tried to remove it before and had rounded off the nut heads, then just left it as is ! I had to drill out the bolt heads, then drill past the shoulder on the bolt to remove them, taking care not to damage the aluminium hub. Looks like it was the original sprocket, the wheel bearings were pretty well shot and I had to drift them out as they were corroded. Doing this I damaged the spacer. Question is, can you still get these ? And does anyone know the part number? I'm fairly new to Nortons, being a BSA man, but as I've wanted one for 40 years, and got what I thought was a good deal I went and made the jump to the dark side.
