Hi All,
I'm a new owner of a lovely 1966 Atlas (got it Fri) which I love more every time I go out on it but it has come to my attention that the front tyre is definitely in need of replacing.
This has led me down a rabbit hole of internet posts, searches and no stock.
The bike has at present a 3.25x19 front and a 4.00x18 rear and I have no idea if that is the correct sizing for the bike, the rims are Dunlops and I suspect they are the originals. American bike until 2014 so it hasn't done a pile of miles.
I've been looking at alternatives to roadriders/speedmasters as their availability is none existent and at the moment am keenest on the Michelin road classics even though they don't quite have the vintage look and are tubeless but able to be used with tubes. Has anyone stuck them on an Atlas? If so how did they get on with them? and finally what are your recomendations?
