commando kick start. fitted to laydown gearbox cant remember what model or year it fitted commando wise.

make sure the one you fit will clear the silencer

How do you maintain the top nut at sufficient tightness to hold the peg but not so loose that it flops, John? I've had do do mine u tight ad leave it permanently sticking out. It kept coming undone. George

mine seems fairly tight at the moment, just a lock washer and domed nut.........but give it time.

the kickstart on the thunderbolt has a spring behind a ball bearing , which engages in an indent, seems to work well

OE Commando kickstarts have a ball and spring detent as well. Some pattern don't.
