Why not buy the missing bits from the likes of Andover Norton and build your own set of forks? This will probablycost youaround £900 but they will be new and add value to your bike. Second hand Commando forks are fetching £300 plusand quite often, when purchased, most partsturn out to betoo worn to be safely used. Why take a chance?
Hi, I have to agree, as it makes the bike original, and easy to find spares. Owens Motorcycles in Wrexham currently list some complete Disc forks for £350. Hope that helps, Paul

I would stick with the Yamaha forks and enjoy some front suspension that works properly. Standard Commando forks are pretty poor if you want to ride round any corners and not feel like you are on a pogo stick. But then if you just want to look at it.......

I may have a set of yokes. I will take a look at the weekend
. If I do, I would happily sell them to you - it would be a start! I'll also look and see if I have any other front end parts which might be of interest.
Colin.

Hi guys, thanks you for the replies, i have now aquired the parts i need to make the front end more standard. I would leave the Yamaha stuff in but the forks are way too long and it has no steering lock. Also it looks awful. Thanks for the advice i dont doubt i will need more soon.
