I am starting work on my1974 850 commando - again.I need to replace my rusty from wheel with stainless and might go twin disc;

# where is the best place to buy the wheel?

# Which wheel do I buy if I go twin disc?

#where is the best place to buy calipers and M/cylinder?

# I have bought a Podtronics for this model but no longer have the instructions - what can I ditch when I install this?

I am sure part of this has been asked previously but I cannot find the answer when I do a search.

Thanks for your replies. Have contacted PODtronics for the answers but they do not mention the the blue capacitor - can I ditch this as well?

Hi Roger,

A lot has been written about the blue thing and there are many opinions. My view is that if it is there then leave it where it is.

It does help to smooth out some of the spikes from the electrical system but the podtronics will work on a pre-blue thing system so it will be ok either way.
