Just checking there should be 2 thrust washers each side of the timing case. On the inside there is also a chamfered ring fat side to thrust washer.

Depends on the year and type of bushes fitted but with the large tapered/chamfered washer (large dia to bush) then this is all that is fitted, no other spacer or thrust washers. Combats had a tabbed bronze washer on the inside but the tab often fell off and blocked the oil pickup. The solution to removing that tabbed washer and taking up end play is a pair of 850 bushes and retain the chamfered item. Someone will come along and confirm or correct that. At least thats what I had in my original '72 Combat cases and now have in '73 850 cases.
