...Stocks Regina chain, don't think we would if they were no good.
There are better manufactured chains (CZ/DID) but for roles for in excess of the needs of a heavy twin.

In my motorcycle life, I've…
In my motorcycle life, I've used Regina, D.I.D. and Tsubaki. They all performed well, though Tsubaki seems to have the edge in regards to lifespan. That was all for secondary drive and the latter seemed to develop the least stretched bits. But again, all performed very well enough.
For a magneto, I think the chain has a considerably easier life. Protected from dirt and with semi-continuous load.

I`ve just been amazed that the only one`s i`ve seen advertised are Reynolds which I read I should be aware of due to the originals were good but since have become not so good OR Regina which is readily available . All `write ups` on chain are refering to final drive it seems . Having said that and as you say because the cam and Mag chains are internal and oiled maybe I`m being too careful ?

You should be alright with any of them Wayne. In my opinion, it's the chain that gets the least abuse anyway.
