Hi
Ive been looking for a new pair of swept back pipes for my 650ss and struggling to find a pair as most traders are out of stock.
Some swept back exhaust pipes listed for for the Atlas don't also say that they fit the 650ss.
I asked Classic bike shop if their Atlas pipes would fit a 650ss and they said they were unsure.
Anyone with better knowledge out there have a definitive answer through experience ?

Cant see any reason the Atlas pipes would not fit the 650 . Check pipe diameter as some Atlas had big bore ? . I have some big bore frame hugging Atlas Proddy Racer pipes on my 650 (only a very few made for 1968 factory bikes ) which fit far better than normal 650 pipes !.

Hi Mark - In my experience an Atlas swept back is usually 1 5/8 inch diameter pipe along its whole length. Whereas 650ss and 88SS swept backs usually start and finish as 1 5/8 inch but in between are reduced to 1 3/8 inch diameter. Often the 650SS swept-back pipe has a link to the opposite pipe just beyond the head flange. Have you tried Fedex - they make to suit. Also Armours in Bournemouth. Good luck, Howard
