Green spot tachometer

Forums

Hi,

has anyone please got a contact for repairs to early green spot tachometers please? My tach suddenly became very erratic whilst out for a ride today. The reading fluctuates rapidly between zero and the red. Cable is fine as is the drive. If I remove tach from bike and turn the clock drive with a screw driver it displays an erratic reading.

Or has anyone got a spare for sale please?

Hi Gary,

Try Stuart Walker at Classic Speedometers.

Best regards

Rick

Many thanks Stuart, I have contacted Classic Speedometers this morning and have arranged to send the Tacho clock for repair once I have laid the bike up for winter. £100 seems a fair price to me.

Regards,

Gary
