Hi if anyone can help out with this? Had a very frustrating experience having bought new steel side panels one from AN and one off ebay. Beautifully painted but they dont fit!!! Decided to go with original old stock. Have an oil tank cover just need the left side panel now. have to go for a new paint job........

Oil tank cover the holes to…
Oil tank cover the holes to take the bolts to secure it dont line up with the holes in the oil tank
LH cover has a piece of the pressed steel seam that is too large to go into the space to be able to secure it
Small misfits but useless without drilling and grinding to put right. Bought them ages ago and the paint job took forever and I only found out when I tried to fit them on the bike in France.

Which Airbox ?
Photos would help Nick...Which year and which airbox as both upper and lower fixings changed several times.
The original covers were perfectly capable of rubbing too.

Fitments in the wrong place?
What did the suppliers say about the problem? If the problem is not very specific to your bike I am sure that they have heard of the problem before.
