Fork springs.
Nothing wrong with the standard ones!!???
I reckon Roadholders were invented by a dentist, they're so harsh.
But seriously I have been using Progressive springs, an RGM Covenant kit and 15w oil for years. It's a joy to have the front end floating over our crap roads and it never bottoms out.
Just got to sort the back-end, my back can't take the punishment any more....

The oil and volume affect…
The oil and volume affect the front end more than the spring in use. No matter what spring you use, the volume of oil in the manual is a little low, use 170cc per leg as per the Thruxton proddy racer notes and spec. This will prevent bottoming out, 150cc doesn't.
I have used medium weight fork oil and 5W40 engine oil with good results. 10W50 engine oil is too thick, works, but gives a hard front end which is not a problem on nice roads, but uncomfortable on worn out roads.
Also worth looking at your damper tube the next time they are out, the clue is in the title, it should be precision bored tube, not pipe to the nearest dimension.

Progressive springs are a little softer over road ripples. Nothing much wrong with the standard springs I reckon.
