Girling shocks
This was another company, and when the owner passed away, the refilling of Girling units stopped. He was based in the Newmarket area.

There was a company that advertised in the AJS & MOC magazine Jampot, who did this. He would refill your Girling shocks, and then Araldit a grub screw into the base of the unit. He would garantue the units to pass your first MOT.I had a pair of my own Girling's done by him, but they did leak, and I had to have them resealed. It can be done, but it is the sealing part that is the problem. A pair NJB shocks is a good replacement for the Girling units.
