Has anyone got any suggestions on how to extract the Drive side Camshaft bush from my MK3 crankcase, the timing side bushes came out easily with some gentle heat. This bush is Blind so its a bit more tricky, any ideas ?

cam bush tool
Here are pix of my cam bush tool. Significant time to design, make all components, but now a breeze to pull out a bush and it is not damaged. Works on both early, up to 20M3S, thick bushes and late, 200000 on, thin bushes. Been using this for well over 20 years.

As per Mick Hemmings, screw a tap into the bush - grip tap in vice & knock case off
