Hi, would anyone be able to recommend a workshop in South West London area that could help me with a mk2a 850? I've recently acquired it and it's a mixed bag of having had lots of work but not entirely setup correctly, probably the Mikuni vm 36 causing a loss of power over 2000 rpm.

Carb trouble ?

I had one of those conversions on my 1970 Commando Roadster, and it stopped working and would not start. I put some petrol down the plug hole and it fired. I took off the single carb, and put back my pair of original Amal concentric carbs, that Martin Bratby overhauled for me. It started up, and ran ok, and I have not had any trouble with it since.

If you think that it's the mikuni carb try contacting allensperformance carbs ? They were great with me! Roy, good luck!
