TLS front brake

Does anyone know where I can get information on how to set up a TLS Front Brake?

I set mine up off the bike. Adjusted the tie rod until both cams just begin to lift together. Keen types lathe turn them but I just let mine run in.

The book says to detach the link and apply same lever torque to both arms - then fit the link to suit. I never got that to work.

And also - when back on the bike, slacken the front spindle, grab the lever and tighten the spindle. That should in theort centre things up properly. Unless (I imagine) its already off to one side and wants to go further. I think that's a good reason to do it off the bike.

The 'Neil' Norton handbook seems to be out of print. It's easier to find prewar Norton manuals free on the internet than those for the post war twins (I think). The Haynes manual is a reprint from their photocopy and not as clear to read as the original. And has some errors (notable crankshaft bolt torques are wrong as discussed here in the past.
