Paint colours faithful to original

Forums

I want to get my interstate sprayed up in Candy Red and also want to get a Fastback set painted in Fireflake Blue.

Does anyone still make paint to the original colours?

Or is it a matter of taking something original to a good body shop and getting the colour copied.

I live near the Kent / Sussex border - has anyone had some good work done in these colours by a paint shop that might be able to duplicate it again?

I don't think the Fastback was ever made in Fireflake blue but I could be wrong. (mine is Jaguar Racing Green) Silver, green, red and a few specials with red metalflake and silver panels.

Back in 1974, I bought. 1972 fastback with combat engine in Fireflake blue with black side panels. The bike looked wonderful in this colour!

I will dig up a picture .
