Paint colours

Hi all, Does anyone know what the name of the blue colour used on the Mk3 interstate, and if there is a modern equivalent. Thanks, Tony.

The only Blue I can find is Fireflake Blue / Pacific Shimmer Blue

Assuming you mean the 850, then ex-factory, there was no blue finish available on Mk3 Interstates. The Interstates for 1975 were available in Candy-Apple red with silver lining, black with gold or silver with red / black lining. The Roadsters were similar except that the silver was replaced by the white with blue / red lining.

Do you mean the pre-'75 'Interstate Blue' ?
