Hi everyone,
what paint do you recommend for the barrels on a 650ss should it be gloss, matt or satin?
also what finish should the clock bracket and clocks be?

Maybe black gloss is "right", but I use satin spray paint, (as used on wood-burning stoves) this never chips, and radiates away heat better than gloss. John.

Norman White has his stove…
Norman White has his stove enamelled in gloss black - so that's what I'll always do. Apparently matt black is better at heat dispersion but, as you say, it doesn't really look right.
