I have just bought a Mikuni VM34 carb which I have put on my Mk3 Commando. The carb has come with factory settings, can anyone out there help me with the correct jetting for the Commando? It starts ok, runs lovely over 50mph but is a bit erratic on tickover and can't be trusted. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks (I'm using a single carb).

I've been through this myself, trying to jet a mikuni vm36 to suit my 850 mk3
Check out www.ohioracers.com/mikunijetting.html. There is a chart showing settings and the like for mikuni carbs.

Another very good source of sound information is Allen Performance,they put me right on all my jetting issues.
