Tony,
That one you can answer yourself by comparing http://www.nortonmotors.de/ANIL/Norton%20Website/norton/parts-list.php?Model=n850_2&Plate=007 ff with http://www.nortonmotors.de/ANIL/Norton%20Website/norton/parts-list.php?Model=n850_e&Plate=006 ff. Have fun!

This is true Joe if I had a late Mk111 box to compare with, I don't want to buy one and find I can't use it.

Hi Tony, I think what Joe…
Hi Tony,
I think what Joe is getting at is if you compare the exploded diagrams of both the MkIII and pre-MkIII gearbox drawings you should be able to work out what needs to be done.
But what are you actually trying to do ? Turn a standard MkIII into a right hand change or use a MkIII gearbox in a pre-MkIII primary setup ?
The first should be fairly straightforward , the second a lot harder.
Regards
Tony
