House of Fraser Norton Commando

Forums

A bit sad but my attention was drawn to the House of Fraser Christmas advert which features a Norton Commando (Classic) at around 1m 23s.

Anyone car to confirm the model - definitely USA type handlebars?

After a quick glance (I don't own a TV and, boy..... do I NOT miss this sort of dross!) I would guess it's one of Mr Emery's front ends. I could go back, pause and expand, but once is more than enough for one day!!

But all credit to them for choosing a Commando, obviously no one told them it didn't steer straight, vibrates, loses oil, is grossly eco unfriendlyetc.. etc...

Hope they've got good lawyers, promoting such irresponsible lifestyle options!

My Good Lady works at the place which makes a lot of the clothing worn in the advert (Helen Moore). The only way she could get me interested in seeing the ad was by telling me it had a Norton in it!

The rarest production Norton has to be the 650DL ,never seen one.

I see Gucci have joined the advertisers featuring a Norton Commando

Yes, I saw that the other night. I seem to think it is a re-run from last Christmas advertising, though I may be wrong.
