Hi
One of the exhausts of my Dominator is broken on the flange side, where it makes contact with cyclinder head (photo attached). I was wondering if anything can be done to repair it, or if replacement is the only fix. Also, what is the effect of using this broken exhaust (if any)? Any loss in power or damage?
Thanks!
Isaak

hi yes that could be repaired fairly easily by cutting off the old flange and welding on a new one
if you use it as is there is a danger that it will blow from there in turn this will cause cold air to be sucked in when you shut off the throttle this will then ignite in the exhaust and cause a back fire witch will damage the flange even more also it can cause the exhaust valve to over heat and burn the valve out so for the sake of 5 min welding get it done rather than leave it
