Hello
I'm sure this question has been raised numerous times, what is the ideal crankshaft balance factor for my 1972 750 Combat motor? I have seen reference to 85%, but I'm not sure that's correct.
It's been re bored to +.20 and someone recommended that I have the crank rebalanced, is it worth it?
Any thoughts / comments would be much appreciated.

I thought 85% was for when it was mounted in a featherbed and 50% was for Commando frame. Unless you have been having problems with vibration then no need for rebalance, you have the iso's after all.
