Whilst wandering down the road looking for the gear-lever which had got fed up and fallen off a chap walked up waving the offending item! What's it off he asked - a Norton! He told me he worked at Villiers in Wolverhampton and a notice went on the notice board asking for riders to report to HR. He told them he rode in on his SS and they showed him a bike in the lab leant against a wall - it turned out to be the prototype CommNdo and he was given the job of test rider! Interesting chat.
